Who I Am

A close friend once told me I’m like an onion, that there are many layers to me. For some reason, that always stayed with me. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized how true it is. The more life unfolds, the more I find myself slowly peeling those layers back and discovering who I really am.

Welcome to my journey of building a life rooted in purpose, service, and continuous self-improvementwhile inspiring others to do the same.

My Story So Far

I was raised between homes, and that shaped me more than I understood at the time. It taught me how to adapt, how to read people, how to carry myself in different spaces, and how to grow up a little faster than I probably should have. A lot of my life has been trial and error, often learning things the hard way. Who I am today is someone still learning how to make sense of it all, and how to turn what formed me into something valuable for others.

I’m currently in my third year of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, building toward a future in psychiatry, philanthropy, and holistic coaching. I mentor, I study, I train, and every day I work to close the gap between the person I am and the person I know I can become. More than anything, university has taught me that I’m not meant to have it all figured out. I’m just meant to keep becoming.

What Guides Me

A lot of what I do comes back to my faith. My values, my aspirations, and the standards I hold myself to are all shaped by a desire to live sincerely.

I’m drawn to service because it pulls me out of myself. I’m drawn to growth because I know comfort can make a person stagnant. I’m drawn to mental health because I’ve seen how much people can carry internally, often in silence. At the center of it all is one simple hope: to become a man whose faith, character, and actions are fully aligned.

“By time, indeed, mankind is in loss, except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.”

 Surah Al-‘Asr [103]

Beyond School & Career

A lot of the time I spend outside studies and work is spent on developing my creative skills. I’ve always had a strong creative side, which I express through copywriting, content creation, calligraphy, and photography. My attention to detail allows me to refine my style and convey meaning through each of these outlets.

That same attentiveness extends into my interest in psychology, especially the inner world of the human being, how people think, and what shapes them. I’m especially fascinated by Islamic psychology and Jungian theory—two areas I enjoy reading about. 🙂

Calisthenics, running, soccer, and fitness are also a big part of my life. Having an active lifestyle is a core pillar for me, and physical training has remained one of the main ways I take care of myself in a holistic sense.

A lot of what matters to me comes back to nourishing the mind, body, and soul. If that way of living resonates with you too, feel free to send me a message. I’d love to connect.
